Dan Dury writes: I graduated from
Reynoldsburg High School in 2000, and then attended The Ohio State
University for three years before transferring to the Pontifical College
Josephinum where I graduated in 2005. Currently, I am studying at Mount
Saint Mary's Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland. I hope to grow in my
knowledge of the faith so that I can in turn give others that same
knowledge. It is wonderful to understand the great wisdom of the Church,
the Church that Christ established so that we may participate in His
divine nature through the Sacraments. I have found that seminary is a
great place to discern a vocation. Indeed, being with others that are
striving toward that same goal is very helpful in the process. I
particularly enjoy learning about moral theology as it tells us how to
live and why this is the way in which one should live. I hope that from
this knowledge I can explain to others why certain acts must not be
chosen so that they may experience the fullness of life in Heaven.
Please pray for me as I continue to discern what God wants of me. God
Bless.
